6th Annual SAG Members Only Virtual Art Show
Multimedia artist/photographer Sherry Vockel will be judging both the Art and Photography sections of Sequoia Art Group’s 2026 Membership Only Virtual Art Show in mid-October. Working in pastel and oil over the past 30 years has afforded Sherry the opportunity to learn so much more about the visual arts. Her first love was documentary photography after studying at Brook’s Institute of Photography in Santa Barbara. Painting has given her the freedom to create beyond the limitations of the camera. The journey to get there has been long, the learning sometimes overwhelming and frustrating. Yet it has been a great journey and she’s grateful to have lived in a time and place that has given her this opportunity. Sherry is a Signature Member of the Society of Western Artists, and Associate Member of the Pastel Society of the West Coast. She has also attended the Academy of Art University in San Francisco.
